Homemade Citrus All-purpose cleaner
The most powerful of all the cleaners for very inexpensive.
Ingredients
1 quart of tightly packed citrus peels (orange, lemon, lime, grapefruits-any one or combination)
White distilled vinegar
Distilled water
Essential oil (any citrusy clean smell you'd like-but optional)
Instructions
Pack quart sized glass jar full with citrus peels and fill with vinegar, to the top. Close jar and set in sunlight to infuse for about 2 weeks.
Strain vinegar and discard the peelings. Store glass jar in a cool, dry place. This is your concentrate liquid.
All purpose cleaner mixture
Pour 1/2 cup of infused vinegar into a spray bottle
Add 2 cups distilled water (doesn't HAVE to be distilled)
Add about 20 drops of lemon essential oil (optional)
Put on lid and shake well.
FYI
It will still smell of vinegar, but only for a few seconds then you'll be left with a wonderful citrus smell.
I do not recommend using on natural stone countertops or tiles. Over time vinegar can cause pitting in your natural stone.
